Is your kid always happy to have her photo taken?

I get asked this question above, and variations of it, a lot…

Is your kid always happy to have her photo taken? Really? Every single day?
Does she ever say no, no more photos?
Does she ever look dirty/ messy and less posed?
Does she ever smile?
She looks too happy, too sad – what are you doing to her?

The answers are no, yes, yes, yes and letting her be a kid. Which of course means a huge range of emotions… Generally flitting from one to the next in a matter of micro seconds.

The point of Project Liana 365 is just that…

Capturing those moments. The authentic emotions. The in between…

The faces and poses and expressions and moods that are uniquely, lovably perfectly Liana.

Some days she is happy.
Some days she is silly.
Some days she drives me absolutely insane! But I still want to hug her tight.

Some days she is quiet and thoughtful.
Some days she is bouncing from foot to foot so fast that the photos are blurry.
Some days she is feeling creative and quirky.

Some days she is upset, grumpy or just in a shit of a mood.

capture your child's authentic emotions

Those days are some of my favourite photos.

Because they are real.
They tell a story.

Her story.

Our story.

This is how you capture your child’s authentic emotions.

No “say cheese”
No posing.
No wait till later when you want your photo taken. When you are in a better mood. When you can stand still. When you can smile ‘properly’.

Real life.
It always happens right now, in this moment.
