Oh boy – what a year 2015 has been!!!
As I have seen various other bloggers post about their reflections on 2015 over the last week or two I have felt a bit “bleh”. Every time I got yet another email in my inbox with Christmas and New Year messages, and new offerings, and sales on products I have got a little more stressed.
What can I even say about 2015? In so many ways, I feel like I slept through most of it.
Did anything significant happen? I can barely remember… Or I am trying not to.
Do I have a product that I want to sell (at full price or discounted in celebration of the new year?)
Do I have any inspiring words to share?
What do I have planned for next year?
Am I excited about the first day of 2016 being this amazing day where everything instantly changes and all of a sudden things are wonderful? If you believe some of the things you read, there may even be rainbow unicorns walking down the street in the morning if you look out the window…
The answer to all of the above is ~~~ who knows!!!
I don’t have the answers. I don’t even know where to begin with defining what 2015 was. But today I had a flash of inspiration, and I think I know how I want to share and reflect on my year. Not because it is necessary to publicly “wrap the year up” but because it feels right. For me.
It may not be tomorrow, it may not even be in the next week, or in the next month. But I do have some stuff I want to share when the time is right.
Happy New Year!
Until then, in celebration of all things bright and colourful I wanted to share these images of Liana taken earlier in the year. I hope your New Years Eve, New Years Day and every single day beyond that is overflowing with happy, with colour, and with lots and lots of giggles.
I would love to hear from you in the comments below – how do you feel about the end of 2015? Do you have rituals, intention setting and resolutions lined up ready to take affect as of the stroke of midnight, or do you keep things a bit more casual?
